Jennifer has been chosen as the
2009 Washington State Apple Blossom Print Artist!
The view out my dining room window that cold February
morning was magical, with the deep rust against the vibrant blue purple
of the snow in the shadows of young apple trees, and the bare hills
across the river with just a touch of snow remaining.
This is a huge honor for me. Each year, the Apple Blossom Committee
chooses a local artist to produce an art print that is sold to raise
funds for the Festival.
This has become a wonderful tradition supported and anticipated by
everyone in Washington State and beyond. Just one more way to celebrate
the apples of Washington – best in the World! |
